What is a Field of Honor®

Hundreds of United States flags will fly on the lawn of Wayne Community College in A Tribute to Service Above Self, as Goldsboro Rotarians bring their 5th Annual Field of Honor® flag display to the heart of eastern North Carolina. This formation honors those who by their lives honor the flag.

Flags in the display may be dedicated to show support and honor active-duty military, veterans, first responders, and neighbors in a tangible and visible way. Identified by special tags, these flags may be sponsored for $40, and the flag with its tag will be received by sponsors as a memento of the event. Proceeds will raise funds to support charitable programs of Rotary International and the Goldsboro Club.

The Goldsboro Field of Honor® display is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships, and the efforts of dedicated volunteers. Please show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or making a donation.

This is an experience hard to describe, but not to be forgotten. We invite all to visit the Goldsboro Field of Honor® display and walk with us among the posted flags. The display is open to all without charge.
