Interested in becoming a member of the Goldsboro Rotary Club #6154? 

We welcome and appreciate your interest!  You have taken the first step in joining the world's premier international humanitarian service organization.  We are a diverse global network of community, business, and professional leaders who address relevant social causes to change lives and build goodwill and peace at home and abroad.  Rotarians also focus time, energy, and efforts on Peace & Conflict Resolution, Disease Prevention and Treatment, Water & Sanitation, Maternal & Child Health, Basic Education & Literacy, and Economic & Community Development. 

 

Qualifications for Membership: 

The Goldsboro Rotary Club #6154 is open to any adult professional who works or lives in Goldsboro or Wayne County that is of good business and professional reputation, and is currently engaged, or engaged prior to retirement, as proprietor, partner, officer, manager, or similar position of responsibility of any worthy and recognized business or profession.

Responsibilities of Membership:

Once the prospective member qualifies under the above criteria and an open classification exists within the Club, a member must:

• Meet attendance requirements - participate in weekly meetings.  Attendance is expected but we understand that circumstances come up that can prevent you from attending meetings each week.  Meeting make-ups are encouraged through visits to other clubs, participating in activities outside of regular meetings, or approved digital platforms.  Any additional circumstances must be discussed with the Club President.

• Participate in general Club activities and service projects and engage in service and fellowship activities.

• Pay dues on a timely basis, either quarterly or annually.  Current dues are $171.25 per quarter or $685 per year, including meals.  All members are encouraged to be Foundation Sustaining Members, an additional (but optional) $30 per quarter through Rotary Direct.

Typically, "Rotarians-at-Heart" (prospective members) are invited and sponsored by existing Rotarians.  However, if you do not personally know an existing Club member and you are interested in joining the Goldsboro Rotary Club #6154, simply complete the Membership Application below and it will be reviewed by our Membership Committee.  Be sure to complete it as thoroughly as possible and include at least two professional references.

Once you submit your application, our membership committee will review your information and contact you with any questions.  Once you are approved, you will be notified by the committee and contacted by the Club Treasurer to set up your billing preferences.
